St. Petersburg has only recently embraced townhome living. Up to the 1990's most all of the housing in Pinellas was single family homes or condos. Only with the recent spike in St. Pete home prices has townhome living become a viable option.

Most all of the available land in St. Petersburg has been bought up, so developers such as Beazer are putting townhomes in the last few undeveloped parcels. Townhomes in St. Petersburg tend to offer excellent locations to live and often close to the water living.

Banyon Bay

Newer St. Pete developments include Banyon Bay, a new waterfront complex located close to Coquina Key (pictured above). This newer gated community is fresh and ready for new residents.

Bay Breeze Cove Town Homes

This luxury townhome complex off of 4th st and near 50th Ave has just been built out in the 300's. Manor Townhomes feature stone front accents and a location "convenient to everything."

Fareham Square Town Homes

Palmbrooke is one of the newest additions to Townhome living in North St. Pete. It is actually located in Pinellas Park and convenient to both the beaches and the bay area bridges. Palmbrooke is priced at the high 200's to 300's.

Park Place Town Homes

Once again Pinellas Park is ripe with new townhome construction. This time Park Place is selling its final set of units to townhome lovers and those seeking less home maintenance. Park Place is located in striking distance to Ulmerton, Gandy, and businesses in the heart of Pinellas County. Most townhomes in the area are 3 bedroom units but there are a few select 2 bedroom options.

The Plantation Town Homes

In the very northern reaches of Pinellas are a set of townhomes known as The Plantation. This complex is brand new construction that is still being built as of 9/1/05. Most units are a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom plan with a garage. Prices had been in the 200's.

Heritage Oaks Luxury Town Homes

Construction is well under way at Heritage Oaks town home complex. The development is located on 54th Avenue North St. Petersburg in striking distance to 275, Gandy Blvd, and the Gateway business community. Current pre construction town homes are 3 bedroom 2 bathroom units with garages. Current prices are in the mid 200's.

Spanish Palms Townhomes and Condos

Downtown St. Petersburg there is a small condo and townhome complex built around 2004 in a Spanish revival style. Located off of 1st St. N. and close to 4th Ave N, the complex offers a superb location for city life.

Venetian Harbor and Venetian Bay

Venetian Harbor Townhome in St. Pete Venetian Harbor and Venetian Bay are hidden gems near Gandy Blvd in north St. Petersburg. Just before the landmark Gandy bridge lies Snug Harbor and Snug Harbor road. Venetian Harbor offers Mediterranean inspired housing with boat docks and water front living.
